Excerpt: I am filming at BETT this year. I am wearing several hats. One is that of filmaker for various commercial firms. Another is scouting out the interesting and non-mainstream activity that goes on around the (increasingly) global aspect of the technology show. I like to give a showcase to those smaller organisations and individuals who are trying to make a difference, in their own way, with technology in education. One such person is Zoe Ross. She has built a website resource that gives pupils practical tools they can use to look after their own wellbeing and encourages conversations between teachers, parents and children…

Each show will be themed and will include education, news, views, reviews and interviews with key people in education. Give it a listen – it’s perfect if you are commuting to work or are involved in menial tasks or even…

Excerpt: With the ability to stream to FaceBook Live comes the opportunity to reach a much bigger audience. I am a bit obsessed with getting really good quality streams for education so I’ve been experimenting over the last few weeks with streaming live to FaceBook. I have an expensive copy of WireCast but I am really waiting for the new MacBook Pros to come out so I can use it in a more portable environment. This setup enables me to have the ability to stream out a very high quality camera and audio for interviews and coverage of events. I can switch in videos…
