Interview with Valerie Thompson about Schools Minister’s announcement

Today at BETT, the Schools Minister Jim Knight announced an ambitious plan to set up a task force to look at how government, the IT industry and education charities can work together to ensure all children have access to the internet outside of school. The government wants to enable less well off pupils to have internet access either at home or through after-schools clubs and extended schools.In this short interview we asked Valerie Thompson, of the e-Learning Foundation, to explain their role in the process...
